The US chapter of PTM also issued a plea for urgent medical intervention, advocating for Wazir’s transfer from Pakistan to Germany for critical treatment. They highlighted the inadequacy of medical facilities in Pakistan and urged the German authorities to expedite Wazir’s visa process, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.
Jessica Kroner, a human rights activist and consulting editor for Peace for Asia, echoed these concerns, stressing the necessity of transferring Wazir to Germany due to insufficient medical resources in Pakistan. Kroner emphasized that Wazir’s life depends on accessing advanced medical care abroad.
