Even though the “people are happy with receiving exclusive welfare schemes at their doorsteps, without any irregularities,” throughout the previous four and a half years, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has declared that he would introduce a few additional charity programs. “An appropriate plan and policy have been utilized by our government in its operations. It has been carrying out social programs in a way that is pleasing. We plan to launch further initiatives of this nature shortly,” the CM stated. During his three-day tour to the Kadapa district, the chief minister spent Sunday at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya, Pulivendula assembly segment, praying and paying respects. In the Idupulapaya estate, he had a review meeting for the leaders and officials of the Pulivendula Urban Development Authority regarding developmental activities. Following a protracted break, the meeting was called to allow the CM to discuss various concerns and impending development projects with leaders and delegates from Pulivendula. The CM was informed by Collector Vijarama Raju that over 14,000 acres in Pulivendula rural mandal had been brought under irrigation for horticulture under the Pulivendula Branch Canal, CBR, minor irrigation, and micro irrigation ayacut regions. Anil Kumar Reddy, OSD of PADA, stated that R 31.08 crore has been spent in the mandal thus far out of the 44.40 crore that PADA has sanctioned. Furthermore, out of the 135.49 crore budgeted allocation from various departments, only Rs 58.85 crore worth of work was done. Leaders made representations regarding development to the chief minister. The leaders of the CBR-Errabelli Pipeline project looked for extra storage locations at Mothunuthana Palle in order to irrigate more arid areas. Md. Rafi, the leader of Noorbhasha Dudekula Sangam, pleaded with the Chief Minister to acknowledge them as Muslims since they were “following all Muslim customs.” Adimulapu Suresh, the in-charge minister, adviser Dhananjay Reddy, Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, and other others were in attendance.
