The grand Vedic rituals began today ahead of the Ram Lalla pran-pratishtha ceremony in the Ayodhya temple. According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the auspicious pran-pratishtha of ‘Ram Lalla’ in the newly built Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya will be conducted on Monday, January 22, 2024. However, today’s Vedic rituals will culminate on January 22 with the pran-prathistha ceremony.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has planned all the proceedings, with vedic rituals commencing today, January 16, a week before the Ram Lalla pran-pratishtha ceremony. It is known that the idol of Ram Lalla, sculpted by Mysore-based top sculptor Arun Yogiraj, has been selected for installation at this historic temple town. Earlier today, the General Secretary of this temple trust, Champat Rai, said that the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla will take place at 12.20 p.m. on January 22.
In addition to that, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will conduct a grand Sunderkand program across all constituencies of Delhi today, ahead of Ram Mandi’s ‘Pran Pratistha’ on January 22. Delhi Culture Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj also stressed that Sunderkand is a chapter in the Hindu epic, the auspicious Ramayana.
