In a piece of good news, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will hire 3,000 employees. After so many years, the TSRTC is all set to begin the process of recruiting 3,000 employees. With this recruitment, the TSRTC is aimed at facilitating services on recently established routes and also new buses that are being procured in a phased manner.
With rising passenger traffic after the launch of free travel for women under the ‘Maha Lakshmi’ scheme across Telangana, TSRTC officials have stressed that the recruitment will strengthen the existing services. In addition to that, a crucial decision has been taken to implement compassionate appointments apart from recruiting bus drivers and conductors.
The TSRTC Managing Director, VC Sajjanar, declared that the posts of bus drivers and conductors will be filled very soon. However, it comes as part of the Telangana government’s focus to fill vacant posts across various departments. Sajjanar also said that more drivers and conductors are required to ensure smooth operations and cater to the increased passenger traffic.
