The auspicious ‘Shri Ram Charan Paduka’ yatra will leave from Chitrakoot in Madhya Pradesh on January 15, 2024. The yatra will begin amid the ongoing preparation for the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which is currently underway. According to the schedule, the yatra will begin in Bharatkup, Chitrakoot, via Prayagraj, and reach its destination, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
According to the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, auspicious Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Temple will officially begin on January 16, 2024, a week before the main grand ceremony. Notably, the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple will be conducted on January 22, 2024. All necessary arrangements will be set up for 10,000–15,000 people. However, a priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22.
PM Modi stressed that Lord Sriram has chosen him as an instrument to represent all Indians during the much-awaited auspicious ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. He stressed today that he was fortunate to be a witness to what he described as a historic and auspicious occasion. He also said he has decided to rigorously follow all the rituals despite his hectic schedule and responsibilities.
