Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to unveil the state government’s dedicated website for public governance, prajapalana.telangana.gov.in, on Monday, against the backdrop of the initiative’s 1.05 crore applications received. Reddy will also conduct a high-level meeting on the same day to go over the applications that were submitted between December 26, 2023, and January 6, 2023, and to talk about how to proceed with them. According to sources, a total of 1.25 crore applications were received, of which 1.05 crore were submitted in order to get five of the six guarantees. The other applications had to do with other matters or requests. The specifics of the “Yuva Vikasam” promise will be determined at a later time. Data entry for the applications has begun as part of the application digitization process, according to officials.
The district of Hyderabad received the most applications out of all 33, with 13.7 lakh, followed by Rangareddy with 10.2 lakh and Medchal-Malkajgiri with 9.2 lakh. Jayashankar Bhupalpally (1.46 lakh), Komaram Bheem Asifabad (1.82 lakh), and Mulugu (1.10 lakh) had the fewest. Across 16,392 gram panchayats and 710 municipal wards, the Praja Palana initiative took place. All told, 4,4568 counters had 3,714 teams of officials stationed there. Program supervision was also provided by senior state government personnel. A municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD) official stated, “We will complete the procedure before the deadline given by the government to digitize or upload all the applications, which is January 17. 3.500 data entry operators have been employed by GHMC, and the company is leveraging educational institution infrastructure to do the work in addition to GHMC circle offices. Several family members have applied for the same plan in a few instances. Only until the digitalization process is finished will the precise number of beneficiaries eligible for the schemes be determined, according to a GHMC representative. The official from GHMC stated that the majority of applications in the city were for benefits under the promises of Maha Lakshmi, Indiramma Housing, and Cheyutha.
