Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will chair a crucial cabinet meeting today, February 4, 2024. According to sources, the cabinet meeting will discuss the upcoming budget session of the assembly. The cabinet will also discuss allocations to be made for the implementation of the Congress’s six poll guarantees.
In addition to that, the Cabinet will approve the governor’s speech at the opening of the legislative session. The legislative session of Telangana will begin on February 8, and the governor will address the session on the first day. The Oton Account Budget is likely to be presented on February 10.
According to government sources, the state government is likely to release a white paper on the irrigation sector during these crucial meetings. The implementation of free bus facilities for women in RTC buses and a guarantee of medical insurance up to Rs. 10 lakh under the Arogyashri scheme are currently underway.
