Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today disbursed funds to the DWACRA women in the state under the YSR Asara scheme. CM Jagan disbursed the fund at a public program in Uravakonda, Anantapur district, in the state. During the event, he pressed a button and deposited cash in the accounts of DWACRA Sanghas under the YSR Asara scheme.
During the event, CM Jagan stressed the importance of women’s empowerment in the state. He also said that Rs. 6,395 crores have been deposited in the accounts of DWACRA women, which benefit 79 lakh women through the YSR Asara scheme. CM Jagan highlighted the transparency of his government’s welfare schemes and said that Rs. 25,571 crore in loans have been paid in the last 56 months of his regime.
