President Murmu Will Present PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar On Jan 22

President Droupadi Murmu will confer the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar-2024 awards on January 22, 2024. President Murmu will present the awards to 19 exceptional children in a crucial ceremony that will take place at Vigyan Bhawan on January 22.

The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development issued a statement on Friday and said that PM Narendra Modi will meet and interact with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees on January 23, 2024. Along with PM Modi, Minister of Women and Child Development Smriti Irani and the Minister of State, Munjpara Mahendrabhai, will also interact with the children and congratulate them.

According to government sources, the Puraskar will be conferred upon 19 children selected from all regions of the country for their exceptional achievements in the fields of art and seven in culture, One for bravery, One in innovation, one in science and technology, four in social service, and five sports.

Interestingly, among the awardees, there are 9 boys and 10 girls, belonging to 18 states and Union Territories. However, each awardee of the PMRBP is given a medal and a certificate. In fact, the Ministry of Women and Child Development has made all efforts to raise nominations by issuing ads in regional and national newspapers.
