Meta has announced partnerships with Overview Energy and Noon Energy to support AI data centers using space-based solar power and long-duration storage, targeting up to 1 GW of space solar capacity and 1 GW/100 GWh of storage to ensure cleaner, more reliable electricity when grid, wind, or sunlight supply fluctuates for AI operations resilience globally.
