Lucknow Super Kings has made its first official signing for IPL 2025, retaining West Indies wicket-keeper batter Nicholas Pooran for ₹18 crore. Pooran visited the Kolkata office of the RPSG group on Tuesday to finalize his retention with team owner Sanjiv Goenka. Originally signed for ₹16 crore in 2023, Pooran is also being considered as a potential captain to replace KL Rahul.
