IND vs ENG 2nd Test Day 4: Lunch Break – England Need 205 Runs To Win

At the time of the lunch break, England scored 194 runs in 42.4 overs for a 6-wicket loss in its 2nd innings today, on the 4th day of the 2nd test against India in the England tour of India 2024. England needs 205 runs to win this second test, but India needs only 4 wickets to win.

Earlier on Sunday, India was all-out for 255 runs in its 2nd inning. On the third day of the second test, Indian batsmen Shubman Gill (104) and Axar Patel (45) played a good knock.

England scored 253 runs for an all-out in its first inning on Saturday, the second day. Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah took six wickets. Along with Bumra, Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets, and Axar Patel took one wicket.

Earlier on Saturday, India was all-out for 396 runs. In the 1st inning, Indian batsmen Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double century (209 runs), Shubman Gill (34), Rajat Patidar (32), Shreyas Iyer (27), and Axar Patel (27) played a good knock. Earlier on Friday, after winning the toss, India decided to bat first.
