The month of Karthika has started today, and many people worship Lord Shiva without touching meat. Traders say that due to this, chicken prices are likely to drop significantly in both Telugu states. Currently, the price of a kg of chicken is between Rs. 200 and Rs. 240. The current prices will come down drastically in 2-3 days and will drop to Rs. 150-170.
