Rahul Gandhi Pays Homage To Netaji Bose On His 127th Birth Anniversary
Rahul stressed that Netaji's Indian National Army, with brigades named Gandhi, Nehru, Azad, Subhas, and Rani of the Jhansi regiment, has played a crucial role in India's freedom struggle.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today paid homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 127th birth anniversary. Rahul Gandhi highlighted that Netaji Bose was a leading example of Indian values of pluralism and social and economic justice. It is known that Netaji’s birth anniversary is observed as ‘Parakram Diwas’ across the country.
In fact, Netaji Bose is popularly known for establishing the Azad Hind Fauj. Rahul stressed that Netaji’s Indian National Army, with brigades named Gandhi, Nehru, Azad, Subhas, and Rani of the Jhansi regiment, has played a crucial role in India’s freedom struggle.
Meanwhile, President Droupadi Murmu paid her floral tribute to Netaji and said that she paid her tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, observed as Parakram Diwas. Murmo also stressed that Netaji demonstrated extraordinary commitment to the cause of India’s freedom, and the nation will always remember Netaji with utmost gratitude.
On the other side, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a post on ‘X’ and said, “Greetings to the people of India on Parakram Diwas. Today on Jayanti, we honor the life and courage of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. His unwavering dedication to our nation’s freedom continues to inspire.”
