Uniform Civil Code Likely To Be Implemented In Rajasthan Soon

The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is likely to be implemented in Rajasthan soon. Earlier on Tuesday, Rajasthan Minister Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary stressed that the state government is likely to introduce the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) bill in the upcoming session of the assembly.
Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary also commended Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, for carrying out the legislation in the state. It is well known that the UCC bill seeks to create equal civic rights for all individuals, irrespective of their faith.
Earlier on Tuesday, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami tabled the Uniform Civil Code Bill (UCC) in the state legislative assembly. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Assembly session proceedings are currently under way.
