Sonam Wangchuk Ends Fast After MHA Agrees To Resume Ladakh Talks

Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his indefinite fast after the Ministry of Home Affairs assured that discussions on Ladakh’s demands would resume on December 3. Wangchuk and fellow activists had protested for Sixth Schedule status to safeguard the region’s cultural heritage. Following a meeting with MHA officials, he expressed hope for positive dialogue.
