Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed grief over a deadly bus accident in Udhampur district that killed 21 people and injured 29. The bus fell off a hillside on the Ramnagar-Udhampur road after hitting an auto-rickshaw. He assured an investigation into the cause and action against any negligence responsible for the tragedy.
