Sanjay Raut Questions PM’s Multiple Visits To Maharashtra

Shiv Sena (UBT) key leader Sanjay Raut took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his multiple visits to Maharashtra. He linked the PM’s visits to Maharashtra within 13 months to the state’s significant role in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
“PM Modi is coming to Maharashtra again and again. It is not because he loves Maharashtra that much. He has visited Uttar Pradesh many times too, but it is also not because he loves UP. The Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh are more; after that, it is Maharashtra,” Raut said.
He further criticized the PM for not visiting the violence-hit northeastern Manipur state. The Shiv Sena (UBT) MP claimed that PM Modi visited Maharashtra more than eight times in the last 13 months. “Maharashtra will play a crucial role in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. The government here is an utter failure.
They cannot get votes for the BJP. He came here 8–10 times in 13 months. Why did he not visit Manipur?” Sanjay Raut questioned. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects and initiatives in Solapur, Maharashtra.
He dedicated more than 90,000 houses completed under PMAY-Urban in Maharashtra to the people. During the public program in Solapur, the PM laid the foundation stones for eight AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) projects worth around ₹2,000 crore in Maharashtra.
