The opposition INDIA bloc will be holding a march from Parliament House to Vijay Chowk in protest of the suspension of members in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
Before that, the INDIA bloc leaders will meet at the Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge’s office on Thursday. Earlier today, two more opposition MPs were suspended from the Lok Sabha, taking the number to 143.
Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi today slammed the BJP-led Center over the bulk suspension of opposition MPs from both Houses of Parliament.
However, a total of 141 MPs were suspended over the ruckus over the Parliament security breach incident. Earlier, Rahul said that the security breach was the fallout of unemployment and inflation in the country.
