Jharkhand Election Result: Hemant Soren Factor Helped Alliance Win

After being arrested earlier this year by ED, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren orchestrated a stunning turnaround for Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led alliance in the Assembly polls. Defying exit poll predictions, JMM is on the way to forming a government for a third term. The JMM-led alliance is leading in nearly 50 of the 81 seats of the state. BJP-led NDA is ahead in 30 seats.
