The Delhi High Court has granted a two-week interim bail to Kuldeep Sengar, convicted for the 2017 Unnao rape case, on medical grounds. Sengar, serving a life sentence, is suffering from health issues, including cataracts. He will undergo medical evaluation at AIIMS-Delhi. The court has scheduled the next hearing for December 20, 2024. Sengar is also serving a sentence in a separate custodial death case.
