CM Jagan left for Delhi on Thursday amid the possibility of an alliance between the TDP and the BJP ahead of the assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to meet several Union Ministers and BJP top leaders in Delhi today, Feb 9. CM Jagan left for Delhi on Thursday amid the possibility of an alliance between the TDP and the BJP ahead of the assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier on Wednesday, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national chief president JP Nadda. Meanwhile, Naidu’s meeting with the BJP leaders sparked speculations of a possible alliance with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). On Thursday, the TDP chief returned to Andhra Pradesh from Delhi.
According to political circles, TDP chief Naidu is very interested in joining hands with the BJP. In addition to that, a section of the BJP leaders in the state believe that an alliance with the TDP will help the NDA in the upcoming polls in the YSRCP-ruled state.
Interestingly, the former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, stressed that the upcoming polls would be his last. He made the comments earlier in 2022.
