Union Home Minister Amit Shah will join a mega poll rally in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, tomorrow, April 3. During the visit, Amit Shah will address a poll rally at the National Inter College Ground in Shahpur, Muzaffarnagar, on Wednesday afternoon.
Interestingly, Shah’s visit to Uttar Pradesh highlights the BJP’s commitment to engaging with the voters and also addressing their issues in view of the Lok Sabha polls. He will also convene a crucial meeting of the Lok Sabha Core Group at the Hotel MB Greens Clarks in Moradabad.
It is known that a total of 80 Lok Sabha seats are in Uttar Pradesh, and the polling will be held in all seven phases. According to the election schedule, the counting of votes will be held on June 4, 2024.
In fact, India will conduct a seven-phase polling journey to elect the 18th Lok Sabha in the upcoming 2024 general elections, beginning with the first phase on April 19, 2024. However, the last and seventh phases of Lok Sabha polls will be held on June 1, 2024.
The BJP won 62 Lok Sabha seats, with its ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) securing only one seat, while the SP-BSP alliance secured 16 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
