Naveen Patnaik’s Close Aide And MP Samantaray Quits BJD

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) faced a political setback after senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Debasish Samantaray resigned from the party’s primary membership. Known as a close aid of Naveen Patnaik, Samantaray stated in his resignation letter that he felt sidelined within the party. He also thanked Patnaik for giving him the opportunity to represent Odisha.
