The Supreme Court said during the hearing that the key issue was Madhya Pradesh’s request to transfer the Twisha Sharma probe to the CBI. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the bench a second post-mortem was conducted in Bhopal. The court noted his assurance to coordinate with authorities to ensure the CBI takes over the investigation immediately.
