Mahavikas Aghadi Fails To Secure Opposition Status In Maharashtra Assembly

The Maharashtra assembly election results were announced on Saturday, with the ruling Mahayuti alliance securing victory once again. While 29 MLAs are required for opposition status in the Maharashtra assembly, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena faction won the highest number of seats (20). Meanwhile, Congress secured 15 seats, and Sharad Pawar’s NCP won 10 seats.
