The BJP-led NDA created history by winning 50 wards in the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation elections. The ruling LDF secured 29 seats, while the Congress-led UDF won 19. Two wards went to independents. The result marks a major setback for the LDF ahead of upcoming Kerala Assembly elections.
