Annamalai Skips Polls, Backs BJP Campaign Drive In Kerala

BJP leader K. Annamalai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Chennai and confirmed he will not contest the April 23 Tamil Nadu elections. He was not included in the candidate list, choosing instead to campaign for the party. Annamalai said he could have contested anywhere but will focus on supporting BJP and NDA candidates statewide.
