Old City Metro Project: 886 Properties Affected, Rs 433 Cr Compensation Paid

Hyderabad’s Old City Metro project has impacted 886 properties, with over 550 demolitions completed. Initially, 1,100 properties were estimated to be affected. Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited has paid Rs 433 crore in compensation. The land acquisition is vital for the 7.5-km MGBS to Chandrayangutta metro stretch, part of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II project.
