Vegetarian Punjab Woman Claims She Was Served Beef In US Detention

Harjit Kaur, 73, deported after 33 years in the US, said she was given beef despite being vegetarian and denied medicine. Held in harsh conditions, she was moved across states before flying to Delhi. Her lawyer highlighted poor treatment, including sleeping on the floor and no shower during detention. She wishes to return to her family in the US.
