Disgruntled supporters of former CM V Narayanasamy protested against Puducherry Congress president V Vaithalingam after he was denied a ticket for the April 9 Assembly polls. Though Narayanasamy aimed to contest from Nellithope, the seat was allocated to DMK’s V. Karthikeyan, triggering unrest among loyalists and raising questions ahead of elections.
