Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam Will Be Available Until January 1 At Tirumala
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is currently conducting the 10-day Vaikuntadwara Darshanam or Uttara Dwara Darsanam at Tirumala Srivari temple from December 23 to January 1 for ten days.
The 10-day Vaikuntadwara Darshanam, also known as Uttara Dwara Darsanam, is presently being held at the Tirumala Srivari temple by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) from December 23 to January 1. For the Vaikunta Ekadasi celebration on December 23, 2023, in Uttara Dwara Darsanam in Tirumala, all the preparations have already been completed. Vaishnavas observe Vaikuntha Ekadasi mainly because they consider it to be a unique ekadashi.
As per the Puranic tale, a day in Vaikunta, the hallowed residence of Sri Maha Vishnu, the Universal Protector, is deemed to be equal to a year on Earth. Accordingly, the twelve hours of daylight in that one day correspond to six six-month cycles of Uttarayanam, and the twelve hours of darkness represent the final six months of Dakshinayanam on our planet.
On any of these 10 days, the devotees at Tirumala would be able to attend the Vaikunthadwara Darshanam of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. VIPs and other devotees don’t need to worry about getting Vaikuntadwara Darshanam on Vaikunta Ekadasi day itself because the effects of the ten-day event continue for ten days. Any one of these 10 days might be a comfortable Darshan for the devotees, if they arrange their own proper plans.
