Omar Abdullah Promises To Advocate For J&K’s Statehood After Poll Victory

Omar Abdullah, the leader of the National Conference, made significant remarks following his party’s victory in the recent Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls. He stated, “Jammu and Kashmir will be a state until 2019. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister have said they will restore the status of the state. I will draft a resolution and submit it to PM Modi as soon as the govt is formed.”
