There are two separate papers in the JEE Main Test. Undergraduate engineering programs like BE/BTech in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, as well as institutes and universities supported or recognized by participating state governments, are open to candidates who pass Paper 1.
Candidates who pass JEE (Main) are also eligible to take JEE (Advanced), which is the entrance exam for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
