The Krishna River has flooded due to continuous rains over the past few days in Maharashtra and Telangana. As a result, the Jurala project is managing the floodwater by lifting five crest gates to release water into the Srisailam project. The inflow was recorded at 128,000 cusecs, while the outflow reached 142,800 cusecs. A total of 434 MW of electricity is being generated across 11 units.
