He joins an elite group as the 10th Indian bowler and sixth pacer to reach this landmark.
Shah praised Bumrah’s contributions, noting his breathtaking yorkers and match-winning spells, and expressed anticipation for his future achievements. Bumrah’s current international tally stands at 401 wickets from 196 matches, averaging 21.01, with best bowling figures of 6 for 19. His Test record includes 163 wickets at 20.49, while he has claimed 149 ODI wickets at an average of 23.55 and 89 T20I wickets at 17.74.
India, earlier led by Ravichandran Ashwin’s century (113) and contributions from Ravindra Jadeja (86) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (56), posted 376 runs in their first innings. At stumps on the second day, India was 81/3, leading by 308 runs. Shubman Gill (33*) and Rishabh Pant (12*) will continue their innings on Saturday, aiming to build a substantial lead.
