French President Visits Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah In Delhi

French President Emmanuel Macron made a visit to the “Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah” in South Delhi recently. This dargah is dedicated to the Sufi saint Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, located in Delhi’s Nizamuddin West area.

During his visit, President Macron emphasized the enduring connection between France and India, stating, “Long live the friendship between France and India.” He delivered a speech at the banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu, expressing sincere gratitude for the warm reception his delegation received on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day.

Macron acknowledged the unique bond shared by the two nations, transcending time and values. He thanked everyone for the hospitality, reflected on the developments since his last state visit five years ago, and expressed joy at returning to India after the successful G20 summit. The French president also honored the participation of French soldiers alongside their Indian counterparts, emphasizing the significance of this collaboration.

Highlighting the special relationship between France and India, Macron mentioned the warmth of their meetings and the recent joint celebration of Bastille Day, along with the reciprocal visit during the 75th Republic Day.
