In Tamil Nadu’s Pudukkottai district, a family of five was found dead in an abandoned car, suspected to have died by suicide. The bodies, identified as Manikandan, 50, his wife Nithya, mother Saroja, and their two children from Salem, were discovered on the Trichy-Karaikudi National Highway. Preliminary investigations suggest poison consumption, and a note was recovered from the vehicle.
