Saudi Arabia Replaces NEOM CEO Amid Growing Scepticism

Saudi Arabia has replaced Nadhmi al-Nasr as CEO of its NEOM mega-city project, appointing Aiman al-Mudaifer as interim CEO. NEOM, part of Vision 2030, has faced growing scepticism over delays and scaled-back goals. Initial projections for a population of over one million by 2030 have been revised to just 300,000. NEOM is still under development, alongside other major Vision 2030 projects.
