Director SS Rajamouli’s wish for an IMAX screen in Hyderabad has come true ahead of Varanasi’s release. IMAX is returning to the city through AMB Cinemas and Asian Cinemas. The move is seen as a milestone for Telugu cinema, enabling large-scale films like “Varanasi” and future big-canvas projects to be experienced in true IMAX format locally.
