Home-Cooked Meal Prices Rise Due To Higher Tomato, Potato Costs

Home-cooked meals became more expensive in November compared to the same period last year, driven by higher prices of tomatoes and potatoes, as per a report. The cost of a vegetarian thali rose by 7%, reaching Rs 32.7. This increase was mainly due to a 35% surge in tomato prices to Rs 53 per kg and a 50% rise in potato prices to Rs 37 per kg.
