Disney Nominates Ex-Apple COO Jeff Williams Director

Disney announced it has nominated Jeff Williams, former Apple COO, as an independent director for its 2026 shareholders’ meeting. If approved, Disney’s board will grow to 11 members. Williams, who retired earlier this year, was involved in launching the iPhone, leading the Apple Watch project, and expanding Apple into health and fitness.
