People’s Conference chief Sajad Gani Lone alleged that the BJP, National Conference, and PDP “fixed the match” in last year’s Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Despite lacking numbers, the BJP won one seat as Sat Sharma secured 32 votes. Lone, who abstained, said cross-voting and political collusion influenced the outcome.
