Delhi Civic Body (MCD) Panel Election To Be Held Today

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena directed the municipal commissioner to conduct the election for the last vacant seat on the MCD standing committee today at 1 PM, with Additional Commissioner Jitender Yadav presiding. Previously, Mayor Shelly Oberoi adjourned the polls until Oct 5 amid a security check row, claiming any earlier election would be “illegal and unconstitutional.”
