Govt Extends GSTR-3B Filing Deadline To October 25

The government has extended the due date for filing the GSTR-3B tax return by five days, till October 25. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs announced that taxpayers filing for September and the July-September quarter can now pay by October 25. The extension was expected, as the original deadline coincided with Diwali on October 20.
