Disney’s turbulent year worsened as “Tron: Ares,” the long-delayed 3rd sci-fi film, crashed at the box office with losses nearing ₹1000 crore. Now, after its failed October run, the film will release digitally on Dec 2, only on VOD platforms. India sees limited benefit for now. A physical disc release on Jan 6, 2026, may finally lead to its global OTT debut.
