OPENING BELL: Sensex Down 181 Pts, Nifty At 72 Points

The Sensex and Nifty opened with down in early trade today. The Sensex started trading today at 77,483.80, down at 181.11 points or 0.22%, and the Nifty was at 24,100.05, down at 72.50 points or 0.30%. The rupee was trading today at 94.25 against the USA dollar. Oil prices jumped after tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, pushing Brent crude to $106 per barrel.
