India is set to introduce its first commercial seaplane services, beginning with Lakshadweep. SkyHop Aviation has received DGCA approval to operate 19-seater aircraft that can take off and land on water. The service aims to connect islands with the mainland, reduce travel time, and boost tourism in remote coastal regions.
