The Maharashtra government has revised its scholarship exam structure, shifting eligibility to Classes 4 and 7 from 2026. Final exams for Classes 5 and 8 will occur in February 2026, with new exams in April–May. Scholarships of ₹5,000 and ₹7,500 will be awarded annually, aiming to boost participation and academic performance statewide.
