Akshay Kumar has confirmed that his much-anticipated film “Gorkha,” announced with director Aanand L. Rai, has been shelved due to budget constraints. He revealed this during promotions of “Bhoot Bangla.” The patriotic drama, based on an Indian Army officer’s life, had created buzz, but rising production costs forced the makers to drop the project.
